Puri Saren Agung (Water Palace) in Ubud
This Royal Palace has been used by the kings of Ubud until the late 1940s, and some royal descendants live there to this day. Although part of the complex are off-limits to the public. Admission is free and this is the best place to see dance performances at night. It is located in the center of Ubud, just beside the Starbucks coffee shop. It was quiet an interesting contrast to see at first.
